Network Tunnels
The Library → Network Tunnels section creates reusable encapsulation profiles. In the task builder, a tunnel is selected from the Network Tunnels parameter group of a Data Plane plugin or compatible server scenario. Plugin traffic becomes the payload inside the selected stack of layers.
Workflow
- Create an object under Library → Network Tunnels: specify its name, description, and one or more layers.
- When several layers are present, their order matters: the first layer is outermost, and the last is closest to the payload.
- Activate the object in the library if required.
- Open Network Tunnels in the client or server plugin and select the object.
- Synchronize the configuration with the agents before starting the task.

| VLAN | IEEE 802.1Q tag | VLAN |
| VXLAN | Overlay over UDP/IP | VXLAN |
| GRE | GRE encapsulation | GRE |
| IP-IP | IP-in-IP | IP-IP |
| IPsec | Secure tunnel (ESP/IKE) | IPsec |
| MPLS | MPLS label stack | Label, TC, and TTL are configured in the same library object |
