Network Tunnels

The Library → Network Tunnels section creates reusable encapsulation profiles. In the task builder, a tunnel is selected from the Network Tunnels parameter group of a Data Plane plugin or compatible server scenario. Plugin traffic becomes the payload inside the selected stack of layers.

Workflow

  1. Create an object under Library → Network Tunnels: specify its name, description, and one or more layers.
  2. When several layers are present, their order matters: the first layer is outermost, and the last is closest to the payload.
  3. Activate the object in the library if required.
  4. Open Network Tunnels in the client or server plugin and select the object.
  5. Synchronize the configuration with the agents before starting the task.
