Link OAM
Link OAM tests link-layer Ethernet OAM. It verifies that equipment correctly discovers an OAM neighbor and supports keepalives, loopback, and link events. The protocol is especially useful for testing carrier Ethernet services and troubleshooting L2 access.

After starting the task, check the OAM session state and OAM PDU counters. If the neighbor does not come up, first check L2 connectivity, the VLAN, and the OAM mode at both ends.
