MPLS-TP

MPLS-TP tests transport MPLS tunnels, including working and protection paths. It defines tunnel identifiers, forward and reverse labels, the protection type, and the association with OAM.

Configure MPLS-TP together with MPLS OAM whenever possible: OAM reports LSP availability, while MPLS-TP defines the working and protection paths. When analyzing results, check the LSP state, protection events, and switching delays.
