CFM (IEEE 802.1ag)
CFM (Connectivity Fault Management) provides service-level Ethernet OAM under IEEE 802.1ag. In Peresvet ST, CFM is configured on the Control Plane network interface, not as a separate protocol-tree instance. Enable Continuity Check and specify the Maintenance Domain and Maintenance Association.
Table 208 — CFM Interface Parameters
| Name | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Continuity Check enabled | Enable CFM Continuity Check on the interface | Toggle |
| MD level | Maintenance Domain level | 0–7 |
| CC interval | Continuity Check interval | 3.3 ms / 10 ms / 100 ms / 1 s / 10 s / 1 min / 10 min |
| VLAN priority (PCP) | 802.1p priority for CFM frames | 0–7 |
| Sequence numbering | CCM sequence numbering | Enable/disable |
| MD name / MD name format | Domain name and format | NONE / DNS / MAC_INT / STRING |
| MA name / MA name format | Required association name and its format | VLAN / STRING / UINT16 / VPN_ID / ICC |
| MA ID | Maintenance Association identifier | 0–65535 |
MD/MA name formats must match the expected configuration values; token case is significant. After starting, inspect the Control Plane: CFM dashboard and the events/logs for CCM establishment and connectivity loss.
